About Me
Art is my passion! I am interested in many different media including drawing, painting, sculpting, crafting and photography.
My entire life has been devoted to using my skills and abilities. When I turned 18 I decided to go into Cosmetology because I thought it would be a creative field where I could use my talents. I recieved my Cosmetology License on Friday, May 13, 1988 and started working in hair salons until 1994 when I decided that although I had many faithful, wonderful clients I was creatively stifled and needed to expand my artistic and professional repertoire. Thus embarked on my educational journey. Starting in the summer of 1996 till 2005 which has included two degrees one certificate and many other elective courses related to my creative interests such as: fine art (painting & drawing) graphic design, advanced and color photography, jewelry making, miniature building, flower arraingment, sewing, crochet and needlepoint.
I have been working as a graphic designer since 2002. I am facinated by the printing process. Although I have trained in web design and animation I enjoy layout of printed material, therefore my concentration of interest has been working in print stores. I enjoy the variety of needs in the print shop industry such as flyers, invitations, business cards, banners, posters etc. But I enjoy pushing my skills and creativity.
